DESIGN PROCESS
Transforming your landscape should be an exciting journey! We’re here to unlock the potential of your space by understanding your unique needs and how you currently use the area. Before our first meeting, we encourage you to gather images that inspire you—websites like Pinterest are perfect for this! During our preliminary meeting, our designer will ask you questions to help us create the ideal environment you and everyone who enjoys the space.

Here are a few points to consider beforehand:

Prepare a copy of the land survey of the property in question. The designer will work from this to plot your property to-scale within the design software. Any documents you have detailing specific locations of buildings, septic fields, lot limits will save surveying time for the designer.

What is the scope of work you are looking to get done ? ( Patio area, pool, hot tub, pond, waterfall, entertaining area, walkways, outdoor kitchen, etc.)

Is there a specific style that you prefer? (Contemporary, natural, eclectic, zen ...). The designer will work with you to ensure that the feel and style of your new landscape will complement and work with the exisitng architecture of surrounding buildings.

Is there anything specific you'd like included in your new landscape? (outdoor kitchen, kid's play area, entertaining space, pet friendly area, privacy, more/ less sun or shade, etc.)

Do you have a specific budget that you would like to respect?

Overview of the design process :

1.Our preliminary on-site consultation offers you a dedicated two-hour session with our designer, who will attentively listen to your specific needs. During this time, the designer will review a questionnaire and perform a detailed site analysis to explore various options for your hardscape and softscape. We will suggest materials such as interlocking bricks, trees and plants tailored to your vision. The consultation service fee is $250.00, (Additional fees may apply for a detailed report following the consultation.) If you choose to obtain a complete design with plans, this initial cost will be deducted from your design estimate.
2. Developpement of the first to-scale plan with the proposed design concept.
3. Second meeting with client. Formal analysis of plan discussion desired modifications.
4. First revision of plan with client,s requested modifications.
​5. Second meeting with client. Presentation of modified plan and discussion of any further desired modifications.
6. Second revision of plan, as required.
7. Third meeting with client. Presentation and approval of final plan. Paper and electronic copies provided.
